Questlove’s brand is one of the strongest in the culture, standing strong on about 8 legs like a spider, he uses his name and influence to add an air of positivity to music, film, TV, social media and more.

He is the drummer and joint frontman (with Black Thought) for the hip-hop band The Roots. The platinum selling band The Roots have three Grammys to their name and have been the in-house band for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon since 2008.  Using this platform as a way to expend the brand of his band as well as his own, he also has an Oscar for Best Documentary Film for his 2022 ‘Summer of Soul’ and has his hands in the works of many other motion pictures as well.

As a highly respected musician and a historian, he is also very sought after DJ who is known for his knack for his ability to know and serve his audience as a true marketing genius should.  He uses his influence to expand his reach, even sitting in with other bands such as JAY-Z, D’Angelo, The Soulquarians, The Randy Watson Experience, Hot Clip and The Soultronics to name a few, all which serve the purpose of allowing attention to gravitate towards him and his many ventures.

Questlove also has used the strength of his name to partner with Pfizer for their Know Plan GO for their Covid-19 campaign, also with Ludwig Drums, and he has an endorsement deal with Okayplayer, which is also the name of his website.

Questlove uses his podcast, Questlove Supreme, a weekly podcast hosted by Questlove (Ahmir Thompson) and Team Supreme featuring guests from all walks of the culture, and he ties it all together with his social media activity keeping an open flow of conversations with the collective that supports his movement.
